Exceptional performance, acoustics/sound system challenged

It was our first time at a live performance for this group, and they did not disappoint. They were truly talented, amazing and fun. The only negative note was that a couple of times it seemed that the sound system did not do justice to the performance when the volume went up - the distortion definitely detracted. In particular, the number called Kevin's Fifth became more noise than music, which was definitely not up to the standard of the rest of the show because the sound system just didn't support it. That said, we would go see them again in a heartbeat, they are all amazing performers - the number just before Keven's Fifth, also starring Kevin, earned a standing ovation - but probably not at that venue.

The Show Must Go On!

This was my first time seeing the PTX Christmas Spectacular, and even though Kirstin was out sick, they still managed to put on a fantastic show! She still sang remotely, and I’m surprised how there were no issues and how great she still sounded. I really loved the whole stage set, it was really well designed. Scott, Mitch, Kevin and Matt all killed it on stage. I feel each member got to shine in their own way. I’m glad they keep Kevin’s cello-boxing as it’s own little segment, I could watch a whole show of just him doing that! Overall magical! Of course would prefer all 5 to be on-stage, but they did well given the circumstances. Hope to see the show again next year if they continue doing it!

sound great

I love them, and will see them again, but they started late and then took a long intermission not far into it. Maybe having technical issues? The audience participation was a fail, and not the fault of the audience in my opinion. Was poorly executed. It was their last show and even though Kristin only appeared on a screen due to illness, she sounded fabulous. There wasn't any interaction between the members with her which we found unfortunate. The lighting etc. was fantastic. Beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the set Kevin did! Opening act, Girl Named Tom was delightful. After their set we waited and waited for Pentatonix. That lull kind of dampered the mood. That said, they all sounded wonderful. Things don't always run smoothly in life. Just giving an honest review of our experience. See them!
